Itching To Get Home
One week after ordering my Dell laptop, it is on a truck and out for delivery today. I can pick it up from my dad’s place on my way home from work.
What else am I getting delivered today? Well, how about a NetGear wireless router and a PC card? By 7PM tonight, I should be at home, hooked up on my wireless network, and playing on my new computer.
The only thing that’s going to be a pain in the ass is moving my email over from one PC to the laptop. I can configure the accounts just fine, but there’s a lot of backlogged email I have to decide if I want to keep or just let go.
Regardless, having the ability to dork around on the Internet whenever I want free of cords on a new computer is going to be terrific. I can’t wait to get home tonight.
